Moonpatrol

Moonpatrol is a classic game developed by the Japanese software company Irem. The game was first released in 1982 on the Williams Electronics (now WMS) arcade machines. It was later transferred to many other systems, such as the Sony Playstation, the Nintendo Gameboy Color and various Atari models. The game belongs to the genre of shoot'em up games and is considered the first video game to use the effect of motion parallax.

I have made it my task, since to my knowledge there is no Java version of Moonpatrol, to programme it. Since the project is not finished, my game does not yet have such a large range of functions. In addition, minor errors have crept in, which will be corrected from time to time.
